St. Faustina spread the news of the Divine Mercy Chaplet and told others that God’s mercy was especially offered for humanity on Divine Mercy Sunday. She would also physically experience the pains of Jesus in her hands, feet, and side whenever God wanted her to pray for sinners, especially when she encountered anyone mired in sin. Once, an angel brought her to Hell, and she learned that those souls there had not believed in Hell. Jesus taught her three ways to show God’s mercy to her neighbours: by word, action, and prayer. Like St. Faustina, let us work for the conversion of sinners, so they might avoid Hell and ascend to Heaven.
