On the 18th Sunday of Ordinary Time (Year A), Fr. Anthony Ho discusses with us the story of the Five Loaves and Two Fish in the Gospel of Matthew. This story reminds him of the importance of the Mass.The distribution of the five loaves and two fish is just like the Last Supper, and in the Mass, Jesus’ body is transformed into the Eucharist to be distributed to the faithful. The Mass provides us with food for our souls: the Word and Body of God. The habit of prayer can also prepare ourselves to receive the grace of his His Word and Body.
