On the Third Sunday of Easter (Year C), Fr. Anthony Ho continues to describe to us the history of the early Church. Fr. Ho speaks about the suffering in Europe during the 14th century, as well as the saints who lived during this time. St. Bridget of Sweden began to see apparitions of Jesus from a young age, and her whole life revolved around the suffering Christ and living a life of strict discipline. She eventually established the Order of the Most Holy Saviour, also known as the Brigittines.
