Pope Francis: True slaves are those who are unable to love

(CNA/EWTN News) Attachment to sin and vice is a form of interior slavery which inhibits the ability to love, but true freedom is always found in God’s mercy, Pope Francis said at the general audience Wednesday.

Pope Francis: When we deal with our weakness and sins, it opens our hearts to invoke the divine mercy that transforms and converts

(CNA/EWTN News) On Wednesday, Pope Francis emphasized how sin breaks our relationship with God and with our community, which is why at the beginning of every Mass we pause to recognize our sinfulness and ask for forgiveness.

Proper Wedding Garments

Thy Kingdom Come

Jesus said to his disciples: “In praying, do not babble like the pagans, who think that they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them. Your Father knows what you need before you ask him. “This is how you are to pray: ‘Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be […]

Jesus Christ, our God eternal

Our Lord expresses His meaning from today’s Gospel in the words, “You are of this world,” that is, you are sinners. All of us are born in sin; all have added by our actions to the sin in which we were born. The misery of the Jews then was, not that they had sin, but […]

Satan’s four lethal doses of BLINDNESS injections

Fourth Sunday of Lent The sacrifice of the Son of God, Jesus Christ, has redeemed us from The Fall due to the original sin committed by Adam and Eve as a result of Satan’s first temptation. The Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus

(本文以英文為準) As the best mirrors represents an image of the face opposite to it, so also is the just judgment of God adapted to our dispositions. Where the rich man because he did not pity the poor as Lazarus lay at his gate, is not heard when he needs mercy for himself. All […]

We are just human…

The Grain of Wheat that Falls to the Ground

In today’s Gospel, Jesus told a parable of the grain of wheat. Proclaim Jesus is Lord

Commentaries on the daily readings by Sacred Space, To prepare His disciples for the persecutions that is to come, Jesus consoled and encouraged them in two ways: He promised as long as they acknowledge Him before others, He will acknowledge them before the angels of God; when they are […]

Denunciation of the Pharisees and Scholars of the Law

In today’s Gospel, Jesus reproves the arrogance of the boasting Jews in seeking the preeminence: for it follows, “Woe to you, Pharisees, for you love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, etc.” By means of those things for which He blames us He makes us better. The Pardon of the Sinful Woman

In today’s Gospel, we see a dramatic scene: A Pharisee named Simon invited Jesus to dine with him, a sinful woman went to Simon’s home. When she stood close to Jesus, she wept and bathed his feet with tears. She wiped them with her tears. She then kissed Jesus’ feet and […]

Unexplainable Love

Luke 15:1-32 In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus told three parables.
