On the 23rd Sunday of Ordinary Time (Year B), Fr. Anthony Ho explain to us the story of Jesus’ healing a deaf man in the Gospel of Mark. Just as God was able to rescue the Israelites from exile in the times of the Old Testament, Jesus’ arrival brings about healing and salvation for us. Not only can He heal our bodily sickness, he can even forgive our sins, opening up the eyes and ears of our souls.
