Tracing the Roots

Montreal Chinese Catholic School was founded in 1957. Among Chinese schools in Montreal, it has the longest history. Montreal Chinese Catholic Mission, the church which runs the school, celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2017. Walking with You (2)

On this week’s “Love and Life”, we invited one of the founders, Teresa, and a volunteer , Carmen, from “Walking With You Cancer Caring Group” to share with us the services they provide and how the group was established. These services include: medical seminars, Tai Chi exercises, small-group sharing, online medical information and counselling... etc. They also speak on patient experiences, the importance of faith and learning to rely on God, as well as how they are able to experience God's love through the support of family and friends. Walking with you

Through support and care from the group, many cancer patients and their family and friends are able to share their experiences of fighting cancer along with their emotional needs, leaning on the Catholic faith as their pillar in life, offering their lives up to God.
