He speaks on how as a medical student he heard God's call, eventually deciding to respond by becoming a priest. In her journey of vocation discernment, Po Yee Yeung happened to visit Peru in South America, falling inexplicably in love with this country along the way. She even went as far as sacrificing all she had to move to Peru in order to continue discerning God's mission for her. Fr. Denis Kong: A young people’s shepherd

On this week’s “Love and Life”, we invited Rev. Denis Kong to share with us the story of his vocational discernment. The young Fr. Kong was influenced by his teachers in elementary school, inspiring him to want to be come a teacher. His relationships with the Salesian priests and brothers, in addition to seeing how joyful they were in their interactions with the students eventually led him to walk the road of religious life. During the way he encountered many challenges and worries, but through the discernment process he was able to see and follow God's guidance, finally becoming a member of the Salesian family. Lastly, Fr. Kong also provided some discernment guidelines for young people, hoping to help them recognise God's calling for them.
