However, many parents strongly opposed the revised sex education curriculum to be implemented in Ontario this September. Why does this curriculum draw such strong reactions from the parents? Ontario Sex-Education Curriculum Survey Study

On this week’s “Love and Life”, we invited Toronto Chinese Catholic Task Force’s Dr. Peter Chen and news commentator Mr. David Kong to analyse and discuss the issues surrounding the implementation of the new Ontario Sex-Education Curriculum. TCCT will release a survey study to poll Catholics in the hope of helping the Institute for Catholic Education to develop better reference material to assist in the teaching of this curriculum. This will ensure that teachers can teach this curriculum within the confines of Catholic teaching.

Municipal Election 2014

On this week's "Love and Life", we invited Toronto Chinese Catholic Task Force's Dr. Peter Chen and news commentator Mr. David Kong to analyse and discuss the upcoming Ontario and British Columbia municipal elections. They discuss the tasks and responsibilities of the Mayor, the Municipal Councillors and the School boards, as well as the Church's guidelines on voting. Finally, they also remind us to take note of each candidate's faith background and philosophy, and whether they are consistent with their words or actions.

Municipal Election

In most parts of Canada, municipal elections are held every three to four years. Voters in Ontario and British Columbia will soon vote for their mayors, councillors and school trustees. Fountain of Grace invited Catholic current affairs commentators to share their views on the role of the municipal government, as well as the criteria for choosing the right candidates.
