On the 30th Sunday of Ordinary Time (Year A), Fr. Anthony Ho explains to us Jesus’ answer to “What is the biggest commandment?” in the Gospel of Matthew. Fr. Anthony reminds us that we must live for God and others. Keeping the commandments help us to live out God’s joy, allowing us to forget ourselves and serve others. On the other hand, worries and sorrows lead us to selfishness and forgetting the needs of others. We must always carry a joyful heart to love God and others in order to fulfil God’s mission for us.
