On this week’s “Love and Life”, we invited two experts on “Theology of the Body” to discuss the Catholic Church’s teachings on sex and marriage. Man and woman originated from the same body, and the union of man and woman truly reflects the love among the Holy Trinity as one body. The distinctive qualities of this love is proclaimed in the marriage vows, as this love can only exist on Earth within a marriage. In addition, we will also analyze why the Church is opposed to certain sexual acts that are prevalent in society.

Brief description:

On the Feast of the Dedication of the Lateran Basilica in Rome, Fr. Anthony Ho explains to us the significance of the 1st Church in history dedicated to Jesus Christ our saviour and the Cathedral Church of Rome. Lateran Basilica is the mother church of all Roman Catholic churches, representing our unity under the guidance of the Pope. Every church is a palace of God, a place of prayer and worship, and most of all the place we celebrate the holy sacrifice of the Mass. Fr. Anthony reminds us we must respect every church as well as Jesus Christ present in the Eucharist, as well as making regular use of the Sacrament of Confession, to purify ourselves and become God's own temples.
