Fr. Ho talks about the third mark of the Church – Catholicity

The third mark of the Church is its catholicity, a term that means “universal”. Since the Catholic Church must endure until the end of the ages and proclaim the Gospel to all nations, the Church welcomes everyone, whether poor or rich, educated or uneducated, people from different ethnicities. As a result, the Catholic Church translates catechism texts in different languages and sends missionaries around the world. In the past, agricultural societies were largely illiterate, so old European churches are filled with stained glass instead. The fourth mark is its apostolicity; the priests and bishops of the Church are consecrated by preceding bishops. And if we read the Church fathers, people are often surprised to find that the early Church worshipped much in the same way as the Catholic Church today.
