On the last Sunday of Ordinary Time (Year B), also known as the Solemnity of Christ the King, Fr. Anthony Ho describes for us the story of Pontius Pilate’s interrogation of Jesus. Jesus Christ as king did not sit high above us on a throne, but rather was raised up and nailed to the Cross. He gave up his life for us, His people on Earth, protecting God’s kingdom. Fr. Ho also speaks on the lives of martyrs St. Miguel Pro from Mexico and St. Catherine of Alexandria from Ancient Egypt, describing how they witnessed to the slogan of “Long Live Christ the King” even to their deaths.
