On the 13th Sunday of Ordinary Time (Year B), Fr. Anthony Ho explains to us Jesus’ miracles in curing the woman with haemorrhages and the resurrection of the young girl in the Gospel of Mark. Through these miracles, Jesus displayed his power in his conquests of sin and death. His resurrection gives us a new hope. Death of the body is temporary, but life of the soul is eternal. We must be like the synagogue official and the woman with haemorrhages, coming into contact with Jesus through unshakable faith, completely relying on his saving grace.
