Fr. Francis Ching’s vocation story (3)

On this week’s “Love and Life”, we invited Fr. Francis Ching to share with us on his journey of discernment and exploring various religious communities. His considerations included his wish to serve a Chinese community, and his process of trying out different forms of community life. Although he encountered various challenges, he understood that it was all part of God’s formation. Finally, he also explained how he was able to accept his eye problems and discover that it was another form of God’s blessing.

On the 5th Sunday of Easter, Fr. Anthony Ho continues to describe to us the history of the early Church. Fr. Ho speaks on the Spanish saint, St. Vincent Ferrer, and how he was raised by his parents to eventually become a holy Dominican. His preaching was renowned and led many converts to enter the Church. His most famous topic of preaching was "The Four Last Things".
