It’s Eastertide (or Easter Season, Easter Time, whatever you prefer) already, and now we are entering the 50-day waiting period for the descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. If you’re like me, Pentecost is just the time when the Holy Spirit lands on the Apostles as FIRE! Pretty cool, but what significance does it have to you and me when we don’t see awesome stuff like that happen to us? In this episode, Lyndon reflects on the theme of fruits in the Old and New Testaments, how that relates to the Mosaic Law, the ancient Jewish practice of offering first-fruits, and links it to Pentecost. Sit back, relax, and enjoy some fruits as you listen to this podcast … it’ll be a long one.

The song you heard in the intro and outro was “Roll Away Your Stone” and “Awake My Soul”, both by Mumford and Sons, the themed song today was “The Fruit of the Spirit”, by Uncle Charlie; the transition music was by Podington Bear and the music for the Scriptural readings was by Michael Levy.
