The Martyrs’ Shrine

The Martyrs Shrine in Midland, Ontario is consecrated to the memory of the Jesuit missionaries who sacrificed their lives when bringing the Catholic faith to the aboriginals in Canada almost 400 years ago. The Shrine has become a place where believers renew their faith and learn from the examples of the martyrs.
