The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is held every year between January 18th and January 25th. Catholic and Protestant clergy would exchange pulpits and share with each other. In 1999, the Lutheran World Federation and the Catholic Church signed the Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification (JDDJ). Fr. Simon Wong, SJ gave a talk on the topic of justification through faith in Christ, a topic that had caused much conflict for over 500 years in the past.
