In Toronto, there are over 5,000 poor and homeless people who need help to survive through the bitter cold winter. Over twenty years ago, a Catholic nun and a group of high school students and their teachers answered this call for help and established “Out of the Cold” program. Today, Out of the Cold has spread to other Canadian cities. Members of Knights of Columbus from two Chinese parishes took part in this program and share their experiences.
