Similar to the Ruins of St. Paul's, the Chapel of St. Joseph's Seminary has been a cradle of missionary formation for over two centuries. St. Lazarus' Church, nicknamed Lepers Temple, used to be the chapel of a lepers' hospice, which developed into a community of Chinese Catholics that put faith and love into practice. Both churches give rise to numerous true stories of evangelization and charity work, reflecting the spectrum of Catholicism from contemplation to action, knowledge to charity.
