耶穌是羊棧的門

很多人以俗世的標準來認定他們「活得好」，他們在某程度上奉行十誡。他們說:「我們活得很好。」如果他們沒有跟隨耶穌，他們的生命又稱得上好?現世生命的價值在於引領我們到永生。不了解生命真正的價值的人不能說自己活得好。

誰若不認識耶穌——亦即生命和進入羊棧的門——無法擁有永生的希望。誰若想進入羊棧，願他們經過那道門，願他們宣講基督；願他們尋求基督的光榮，而非他們自己的光榮。

Many call themselves "good" according to worldly standards, and observe in some variation of the commandments. They say, "We lead a good life". If they did not follow Jesus, what good is it? A life is only good if it leads to life eternal. Those cannot be said to lead a good life, who are either ignorant of, or willfully despise, the goal of good living.

No one can hope for eternal life, who does not know Christ, who is the life, and by that door enters into the fold. Anyone wishing to enter into the sheepfold, let them enter by the door; let them preach Christ; let them seek Christ's glory, not their own.
